Mission

Protecting and promoting human rights in all fields in accordance with international standards, spreading awareness of them, and contributing to ensuring their application in light of the provisions of Islamic Sharia.

Objectives

The Human Rights Commission aims - in accordance with Article 1 of its organization - to protect and promote human rights in accordance with international human rights standards in all fields, to raise awareness of them, and to contribute to ensuring the implementation of this in light of the provisions of Islamic Sharia. It is the governmental body competent to express opinion and advice on human rights issues.
