The Human Rights Commission Participates in the 4th UNESCO Global Forum on the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence 2026.

H.E. Mr. Mohammed Al-Thaali, Undersecretary for International Cooperation at the Human Rights Commission, participated in the 4th UNESCO Global Forum on the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence, held in Riyadh from September 14 to 17, 2026.

The Commission’s participation took place within a panel discussion titled "Advancing Child Safety and Well-being in an AI-Powered Digital Age," which addressed ways to protect children's rights in the digital environment, enhance platform safety, safeguard privacy, and prevent exposure to harmful content and online exploitation.

This comes within the framework of efforts to strengthen the protection of rights in light of rapid developments in the digital environment and artificial intelligence technologies.
