His Excellency the President of the Human Rights Commission, Dr. Awwad bin Saleh Al-Awwad, has met with the Minister of State for Foreign and European Affairs, Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne, at the premises of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the French capital, Paris.
During the meeting, Dr. Al-Awwad emphasized the depth of relations between the two friendly countries and discussed ways to strengthen relations, especially with regard to human rights.
Dr. Al-Awwad reviewed human rights developments and reforms currently taking place in the Kingdom, including the issuance of 60 decisions in all aspects of human rights, out of which 22 decisions were related to the empowerment of women. Heexplained that the Kingdom is still aspiring towards more achievements in this field.
For his part, the French Minister of State praised the reforms that the Kingdom is now witnessing in various fields, especially with regard to human rights and women's empowerment, noting the deep and close relations between the two friendly countries.
