His Excellency the President of the Human Rights Commission, Dr Awwad bin Saleh Alawwad, welcomed at his office today the British Prime Minister's Special Envoy on Freedom of Religion or Belief, Lord Ahmed of Wimbledon, and they both discussed topics of common interest between the two countries, in particular those related to human rights.
During the meeting, Alawwad spoke of the efforts made by the Kingdom, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and His Highness the Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, may Allah preserve them, towards the protection of human rights, and shed light on the developments and pioneering steps taken towards achieving human-centered sustainable development, in accordance with the Saudi Vision 2030 that aims to achieve the comprehensive development of the Kingdom for a better future.
